–Switching platforms

Many of the vendors attending CAM-X will be part of the presentation to explain how their companies’ offerings can help you “weather” service-affecting issues.

The recent floods and wind damage with Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma created a unique challenge for Northern Communications and several other of our CAM-X colleagues.

Northern provides 911 service to several companies in those affected areas.  Mike Shantz will present some fascinating and sobering stories about how the rules for 911 calls were turned upside down.  His experiences will make you proud to be part of this industry and the people who are committed to outstanding customer service.

Finding Crystal Clarity in the Telephone Answering Service Business

Looking back at his 50 years in the telephone answering and call center industry, Paul Lloyd feels that he spent the first 30 of those years wandering somewhat aimlessly, constantly distracted by thoughts of newer, ‘sexier’ technology. He didn’t know yet what services he was best at providing or the profile of his most profitable customers, and with no real metrics, he lacked the measurable goals he needed to take his business to the next level.

Starting in the early 90’s and for the next 15 years, Paul had some watershed moments that helped to lift the fog and give him 20/20 vision.

Join Paul, as he shares some of the ‘ah-ha’ moments along the way.
